I took a test once in high school and it said I was directly in the middle. Now, however, I would say I am more extroverted, but still have some introverted characteristics as well. When I do socialize I always have a great time, however, I tend to prefer small groups or doing things alone or with my children or significant other. Socializing seems like work to me sometimes. I am VERY friendly and outgoing, and I make friends easily...I just don't always like to put forth the effort into maintaining them.

I always thought of myself as an introvert but when I took the myers-briggs test years ago (and recently as well) it tells me that I'm borderline, slightly more introverted.

I guess it's because I'm quite sociable and friendly, and can flit about if necessary, but I'd rather spend my time doing solo activities.

i start out introverted and people usually like me, then when i get comfy i turn a bit extroverted and begin saying what is REALLY on my mind. upon hearing this, people usually get quiet quickly and have a tendency to stare at me. this, in turn, makes me very self-conscious and reverts me back to my introverted state.
