What comes to mind when you view a profile with pics that are blurry or distant enough that you can't really see what they look like?

How do you feel about the ones who don't even have one of their own pics but have many inutile ones?

Makes me think they have something to hide.

I want to spit black bile on the screen!!

I want to marry them.

eh, I was guilty of that for a while - I had a photo up, but it wasn't that great. Took me a bit to add better photos, just because I never seemed to think about it. So, I don't really worry about it one way the other.

Some people simply aren't lucky enough to have a nice camera...I personally like to see a pic, so I can look into their eyes, but I get most of my info by reading the profiles...THAT is what tells me if I would be interested in getting to know them better.
And a pic....doesn't mean it's their pic

pics arn't important,if your writing style is good,you will get plenty of attention believe me be seeing you

since i'm not really looking for anyone anyway...it doesn't bother me. if mine aren't that grat....oh well...again not looking anyway

I think the whole concept is clandestine & is 1 huge conspiracy theory.

Ugh I hate having my picture taken. *grin* ask anyone who has met me at one of the meet and greets I have attended. I hide from the camera. Although rumor has it that there is a picture of mine and ruthie's behinds bent over the couch floating around somewhere.


But to answer the question seriously even the profiles with good pictures I take with a grain of salt. And since looks aren't that important to me when it comes to relevance in a relationship it really doesn't matter to me.

Ooops....sorry. Those are the only pics I have to post. I have been the picture taker so I am not in many photos. The ones others take usually have one or both of my daughters with me and I won't post them on a public forum.

One of these days I will convince someone to take some recent pics of me.

I have recently lost some weight (still have some more to lose), cut my hair off and got highlights..woohoo...changes in the air, I can feel it!

No, I believe it's on an individual basis according to my judgment how I perceive a persons profile..
I'm not to quick to judge but some thoughts are unavoidable... Although I understand why woman put up hot pictures of other woman.. I would rather see them in that same pose... Even if they aren't necessarily as pretty... It's authentic to me and I respect that..
Grant it, I do have a picture of a ninja on here that isn't me but all the pictures of me are me... (but I am secretly a ninja in my own mind) after that is said... I didn't put some other guys muscles or buns on me to enhance my appearance,,,so you woman don't need to either... I don't know if I speak for all us guys but-We want to see the real deal ladies...ha!

I think as long as you at least put a few pictures of yourself on here then the rest of the pics can be your ideas, visions in art and so on... I just don't think I could be romantically serious with no pictures of the actual person...
....and I would imagine that some of the pictures could be fuzzy but you need at least one good pic so you can see detail that is recent and not from High school... Just one... the rest can be what ever you think you should look like...
If you don't have a recent picture then that is lame... There is no good excuse ...go take one and stop being lazy...

If you are looking to meet someone to date, have a few decent pictures taken and put them in your profile. If you're looking to just chat in the forums, it doesn't really matter.

I love pix in profiles! Physical attraction is the catalyst of interest on a dating site.

I won't open a profile if the member's face isn't visible. Some main pix aren't properly centered and all you see is the person's torso, or they use alternative images as their main -- or if they are in a group of people and I don't know which person is the member -- are all examples of profiles I pass.

I've heard many reasons (from the guy's side), of why they don't post pix, ranging from "I'm too well-known in my community to be on a dating site" or "I'm involved/married" or "I want someone to know me befor they see what I look like". I'm drawn to the conclusion they have something to hide!

If I was only on the site for socializing, I wouldn't care. I realize many people are here only for the forums, and I really enjoy the creative alternative images some use -- ahem, Gypsy!

Pix, pix, pix ... lemme see!

When I first joined, I only had one or two pix up, and a few guys accused me of using fake or someone else's pix. In their eyes, I don't look 43; therefore, I must be someone else!

I didn't realize this was such a phenomenon, and I uploaded a lot to show different characteristics of me. Thankfully, I've met a few peeps in person and I feel authenticated!

I find the entire process rather humorus at times. Dating should be fun but the pathology that exists in some minds -- in being dishonest -- has caused a myriad of cautionary practices!
