After reading this earlier today and posting then coming back to read it several times it brought back the Memories of my Mother and a need to write what I felt. Thanks again for the thread and may each of those that are fortunate to still have their Mother take the time and make those memories for the future. It will never be anything that you regret.

We need to cherish every moment with our moms..if not we will surely regret it..

I still have my mom and thankfully as I get older we get closer. But I lost my grandmom several years back, she was such an amazing woman, she was the glue that kept our family together. She absolutely loved hummingbirds, everytime we see anything with a hummingbird our thoughts turn to her and her love of them.

Just wanted you to know that all that is good, decent and loving in me came from you. Thanks, Mama...you are the most incredible person I have ever known. I love you...always.

I lost my Mom on what was supposed to be a happy day~ my wedding anniversary. March 10th, 1986, when I was just 21 years old. I miss ya Ma, and I never did get any tatts that would've embarrassed you. But you know that.

Yes, this is a dear, dear thread. Thank you, Keth. I read it earlier this morning and was brought to such tears that I'd no choice but flee.

I lost my dearest Mother in 1970, when I was 11 and she was only 38. It has never really gotten better. Nothing can ever replace that loss, fill that heart/soul/spirit hole. The sweetest love a Mother gives is so unlike any other, and so beautifully unconditional. It is such a devastating loss, unlike any other pain.

My Mother, Beverly, was, and, is such a treasure. I remember every blessed moment of her in my life. She was/is such a wonderful and beautiful person, unforgettable. She made such a huge, lasting, sweet impression on me.

... I love you always, Mommy, in all ways. I feel your presence throughout my life, I know that you never let go of my hand. I miss your physical presence and our lives together SO much. Rest in sweet peace, darling Mommy, mine! ...

Those of you w/ the blessed luck of having your mothers in your life still? Never take her for granted, treasure every moment w/ her as the sacred grace it truly is.

My Mother died on Valentines Day 2006. I was her caretaker also. Valentines Day was also my late husband's birthday. I miss you Mother, more than I can ever put into words. I wish every day that I could call you and ask for more of your wonderful pearls of wisdom. Like I say in my profile, one of my favorite things Ever is the sound of my Mother's voice and I will always miss it.
