:-) That's me, just that I'm not great at filling out info about myself. Hard to self-explain.

As for others, kinda hard to say. I think people both purposely and unintentionally say things that aren't true. I did meet a fellow from here who said he's 5'9. Well, if he's 5'9, then I'm 6'! I was at least 2 inches taller then him, and I am 5'8.

but I'm a guy, I have the "easy" side on this one I think... meaning, I think guys are more apt to lie online than women (not sure why I think this)...

I'm not sure anyone knows completely who they are. We are all still working it out.

Of course, that might just be me, in which case I'm insane and everyone else isn't.

I am actually way too honest - I think I need to hold back some lol. As far as others go I am not saying that all others lie but I must say I have come in contact with many who do. Some liars are easy to spot and others blow my mind at how good they are it. I do not know why people feel the need to lie obviously you can't be made for everybody so why not lay your true intentions out on the table. Someone out there is bound to be down with whatever it is you are wanting and lying about who you really are may trick someone into liking you in the beginning but it usually isn't going to make things work in the long run.

me? I am as open and honest as I can be? Its always up to someone else if I am in their eyes.. Just like with "others" profiles. ( women) its all in how you interpete them.





flash... just got someone that sent me a message ( on another site) wants to get to know me? seems she didn't read the profile either. since when is average ( weight) about 60-70 lbs more then she should weigh She was as round as she was tall.... how's that for honesty in a profile.

I think honesty is arbitrary. It depend on what person who you are dealing with before you make the decision on whether you want to open yourself fully with a person who you think it is safe for you to be honest with.

No matter what, it is still a leap of faith on deciding if your potential partner is lying, and that he or she is capable of answering your inquiries in a honest way. So risk is always at play.

I think most people are honest on here. I know I am.

I can only speak for myself, that I am the same honest person online or off.

Ask a truthfull person if they're honest and they'll say yes.
Ask a liar if they're honest and they'll say yes.

It is pointless to ask the question.

One should always take anything anyone says or writes w/ the proverbial grain of salt.

I'm honest, but private.

You won't often (if ever) hear me talk about my personal life unless it's in an obvious playful and joking around manner.

No one needs to know my business - honest or not - except those close to me; certainly not an entire website.
