I have been to them, had a blast except I got hit on by a women...

An army buddy and I walked into a lesbian bar down in Texas. We thought we'd hit paydirt, with about 40 women, and no dudes in site.. They said we could stay if we danced together. We left.

Damn...I know im never going to hear the end of this one, but I have actually been to one.

Before I get into it, I want you to know that I am not against homosexuality or any thing like that. I'm cool with everyone.

So anyway, for me, it wasnt fun. I went with an old girlfriend at the time because she had quite a few gay friends. The gay guys there, thought it was cool to grab her tits and do pretty much what ever they wanted because their exuse was "I'm gay, its cool". Well it wasnt cool with me. After giving him a bloddy nose, I of course was escorted out.

Now other than that....it wasnt all bad. If you dont mind seeing shirtless sweaty guys dancing all over eachother. If you can get past that, everyone there was just having a good time and drinking. Met a lot of cool people there.

I'd be pissed too if a bunch of lesbians were grabbin on my man and saying "it's cool, I'm a lesbian"

I've been in one or two

it was okay. I told em I was straight and was there with gay friends and they were mostly respectful of that and we had a pretty good time

I'm a fag hag from way back, so of course I've been to many clubs...was in the theater version of The Rocky Horror Picture Show (Magenta) & we performed at the club...

Funniest experience: Now, I'm a big tall woman any ways...5'10"...6'3" in my boots...& back then I dressed very flamboyantly...hair, nails, make-up, the works. So, I go into the "ladies" room & there's two queens gossipping away in both of the stalls...man! I really had to go pee! Finally, I lowered my voice an octave & said "C'mon girls! This lady needs to use the facilities!" So they both come out & started Oohing & Ahhing over me...saying "Oh girl! You look GOOD!" Well of course I played along...there's worse things than being mistaken for a drag queen! Oopsie!

I think the biggest thing that weirded me out non of the bartenders (which where guys of course) didn't have shirts on,...


and the fact there was mirrors in the unirnal's so you could peep the other guys junk....if there was standing next to takin a P


then i was watching these girls dance which im not gonna lie it was pretty groovy.. this little dude came over tried to get in my face he was like you need quit starin at my girlfriend and his gay buddy came over and put him in check he was like hey listen do you realize..that guy is about 4x times your size...

other that that it was ok....

But I dont understand that. I dont know why guys get mad at other guys for staring at there chiks. To me...its almost like a compliment. If they are starin, that means shes hot, and I'm the one thats gonna have her naked in my bed at the end of the night.

I love going to gay clubs! I sometimes have more fun there then at a regular club - I find the people are friendly and I get a kick out of watching all the hot guys walking around covered in body glitter!

A little background so you know where this is coming from. I am new to this getting out and about stuff. I lived a very sheltered "stay in his box" life when I was married.

One of my new friends is gay and after going to another club first we went to one so he could see some of his friends. I was a little apprehensive when I was in the pat down line to get in. Once I got in, it was nothing that I have ever experienced before and I got stuck in my tracks just trying to take it all in. The dance floor was humongous and it was full of people of all ages from gay, lesbian, bi and straight to people dancing by themselves and floating from group to group dancing with everyone. I didn't get the vibe that people were judgmental. Everyone was there to dance and have a good time.

I thought I would be weirded out, too, since I am straight. After getting over the initial shock, I had a great time and will go again if the opportunity arises. Would I choose to go there exclusively? Nope. But, I had fun with the group I was with while I was there.

The community throws the best parties with great themes and hors d'oeuvres.

Some of the hottest dance spots around here are gay and lesbian clubs. My nights at them are full of laughs, good drinks, and hot people. I got many gay friends as well and they sure know how to have fun.

of course you have been to one mayhem. you frequent them often im sure.

Oh, I miss the days of going to the gay bars. And if you've never gone to a drag show... it is truly something you should do before you die! It is fantastic!

Unfortunately I live in a very close-minded area, so none of that for me anymore. Oh well.

One of my best friends is gay......I have fun there...they love me and i play pool there and there is porn on all the time...sad thing i kind of like it...lol...
