OK, i am generalising, but the times i have visited the church in my life, i have found it incredibly dull.

Maybe its just English services that are so dull, i dont really know.

If i grew up going to a black gospel church, however, maybe id be religious today. They relly seem to know how to enjoy their religion.

In my life...the 3 or 4 times that Ive been....ithas been extremly boring. And weird.

If you are bored that means you have no imagination and don't know how to have fun, even in church. Why don't you bring a whoopie cushion with you next time.

I have a wild and vivid imagination. If i was leading the service i could make it fun, but if im sitting in the congregation, its not my place to.

Id rather just fart for real as well!

Ever let a couple of white mice loose during the service? How about acting like you are possessed by a demon and yelling that the holy water burns you?

Lol! That could be good, but then I can go elsewhere and be a nutter. Church should be fun for those people that dont know how to be a phycho as well.

Church is for those people who like the kinda things that go on in Church, singing songs, worshipping g-d, watering potted plants...

Did you try yelling "LIAR" everytime the pastor tries to make a point or reads scripture?

I am more prone to shouting out 'PEDO' everytime the vicar glances towards the choir boys.

You I already had a similar conversation today with a friend and whenever I asked stuff about little things you do to your women friends when you are mad at them, he would call me an idiot. I can not be the only one who peed in someone's clothes closet or slipped Colon Blow hot sauce in someone's food.

From church going days, I was never really excited about regular service. I enjoyed the adult sunday school though. That was when I first began to question christianity and the bible. I made it point to piss off someone at least once week. The one that got the most bang for the buck was when I argued that jesus, if akive today would spend time in bars ministering and added that it in his own time he "hung out with whores". That got em riled up.

I suppose it's boring if you are just going to go.If you are into religion,the bible,and Jesus and you want to learn more about it then it isn't boring it's someplace you look forward to going.It does take a while to find a church you like.The last church I used to go to service was around 3 to 3 1/2 hours long.But the service was great so I loved going.There was another church I liked going to and I used to go 3 times a week.

I also love to listen to Christian radio.This station is one of my favorites.It tells true life stories of people much like a movie through their voices who have had horrible things happen to them.

(Run from places where judgmentalism or legalism or religiousity is being preached).



When God's LOVING PRESENCE is actually moving IN the church,

then you know you have found the right place.

MS, im not going to find a church, i think i have made it pretty obvious what i think about Christianity. I was just highlighting the fact that religion to many it is very dull. This is my experience of church in the UK at least.

I took Dan to a spiritualist society last week while he was here, and he got a very accurate message from the medium!!

She told him that he didnt wanna be there, and that he was merely there to accompany me! she told him he didnt wanna know about these things, that he was happy to not know!

Was kinda funny cos he really didnt wanna be there at all! and couldnt wait to get out the building! lol!

Well its not quite a church, as spiritualism is not an orthodox religion, its doors r open to all religions. Its governed by the SNU (Spiritualist National Union) and its a meeting place for those who want to investigate spiritualism. It provides evenings of Clairvoyance.

It took me ages to get Dan to even try it!
