I know it's hard to tell the difference but New Mexico isnt really a part of Texas (they even went with the Union in the Civil War) it's up to Bill Richardson to call in troops or not Im aware quiet! LOL I graduated in Alamogordo and my family have been in Tex since 1811 or so! It wasnt a majority of Texans who were making all the noise about secession either, just a small minority. But none of our border States are doing a very good job at protecting our (their) Southern border. They could be doing a better job and practice a bit of that sovereignty guaranteed them in the constitution. You know the topic that deserved so many threads attributed to such an exclamation for the last week or so? It appears after all that they cant even exercise the power and responsibility to protect their and our southern border without crying uncle (SAM!). |

Doesnt this kinda remind you of the border region between Afghanistan and Pakistan? I wonder if these guys run across the border and battle the Mex Army at dark, and then come back to the US to avoid capture? I also wonder where is our cooperation with the Mex Army? Why isnt our Army all over these guys? does this mean that mexico could send in missiles and blow up the town
