But none of our border States are doing a very good job at protecting our (their) Southern border.
no they are not I think part of the problem is the "reconquistas" and the Hispanic activists (LaRaza, LULAC) and everytime you try to strengthen the border they cry racism. Mexico is a country not a race |

Doesnt this kinda remind you of the border region between Afghanistan and Pakistan? I wonder if these guys run across the border and battle the Mex Army at dark, and then come back to the US to avoid capture? I also wonder where is our cooperation with the Mex Army? Why isnt our Army all over these guys? does this mean that mexico could send in missiles and blow up the town

Well, we arent Pakistan and they dont have our military strength, so I wouldnt recommend them doing so. Of course I wouldnt be surprised if we saw a few errant Mex Army patrols stroll into our territory, if like Pakistan we dont control our side of the border and allow these people to operate from the US! |

I know it's hard to tell the difference but New Mexico isnt really a part of Texas (they even went with the Union in the Civil War) it's up to Bill Richardson to call in troops or not Bill Richardson is the only border state governor, that I know of, who has ever declared a state emergency and activated his NG units over the border problems. |

Well, we arent Pakistan and they dont have our military strength, so I wouldnt recommend them doing so. There has to be cooperation between our countries. The Mexican drug runners cant be allowed safety just because they cross into our country. |

we cant allow fears over friendly fire incidents, or the bleeding hearts for illegal immigration interfere with our efforts and enforcments of border security! |
