Care to elaborate on that? I'm not sure I understand the question. She was talking to someone She got a bad vibe and stopped the conversations Now the other person is "hiding" from her I think?

i would just stop looking for them, then it won't matter if they are hiding.

Where are they hiding? In the closet...under yer bed? Noooooooo, I can't say that I've ever had anyone hide from me...yet! (hiding from Phuque. She can't see me.) I've got sharks with fricken' laser beams on their heads...swimming the Forums...searching for you...you can run...but you CANNOT hide!

I have found myself talking to someone and getting too close..or closer than I want to be now..regardless of how close I wanted to be to begin with. And they don't have to change. (hmmm...Not selling myself on a long-term relationship very well here, huh?) If you believe in psycholgy, I think the correct term is an approach-avoidance conflict. The simultaneous attraction to and repulsion of the same goal. The excitement of the meeting and the angst of it, and generally, both grow stronger as the event nears. Or as you percieve it growing nearer, the "bond" stronger, etc. They (people that think they can distill life experience down to a few neat terms...psychologists) say that it is the most difficult of the three conflict types to resolve. Of course, sometimes you just realize that the person you're talking with has some issues and you need to shut it down. My head hurts. And PLEASE, don't let my post be the end of this thread. I'm getting a complex!!
