As if you were someone we knew.


You had your reasons to come here.
You had no ideal people would be so sincere.
To greet someone brand new.

You could see they came from coast to coast.

That is about life and depression.


You posted about your trip.
You took upon your ship.
The stories you told of each day.
About your trip while you were away.


You told us how much fun.
You were having lying under the sun.
Each day we would insist
For you to tell us what we had missed.


You did it with such fashion.
Your words showed the passion.
You fulfilled our entire request.
Not once did you protest.


You made sure each day.
After your story to tell us you were okay.
You told us about the food you ate.
And the nights you all stayed up late.


Not many with your lifestyle.
Could actually be that versatile?
You shared with us about your wife.
And the things you had to deal with in life.


You opened your heart.
And reminded us love was like an art.
As long as we had compassion, trust, love & respect.
These are the things we needed to make life perfect.
