First, disgusting. Then a nazi reference. Now childish.

You are somehow the victim?

That is debate, left wing style. If at first you can't shut them up with insults or ridiculous comparisons to war criminals, bigots, and racists, then play the victim role.

Nice....

I second that one! drinker I know it's hard for liberals to think of someone else having a opinon different from their own but come on it's getting old to disagree with people simply because you are more interested in slander to that person or religion.I think Craigs list forums is more your style.Hit and run and turn the computer off.

The Republic party has lost it's light. They have no good ideas anymore or any real direction. The only thing they seem to be good at is complaining. They need some leadership.

the Republican Party spoiled itself while they were in power and allowed the fringe extremist wing of the party to gain dominance.

No doubt. What really sickened me is when Pelosi took over and the Democrats had the majority. What did the Republicans do?Nothing. No new ideas,no speaches on how they would get the majority back.It was just like they fell off the planet. The Democrats was having a field day trampling over them like they were not even there. The Republicans also kicked the conservitives out of the picture which no doubt sunk them like the Titanic going down. Now since they lost the conservitive support they are nothing but a bunch of old farts talking to deaf ears.

Republican party has been a haven for the hatemongers in this country for a long time now.

Hatred will always implode those who participate, be they individuals or organizations.

but so have the Democrats

both partys have allowed the extremists to take control and both devote themselves only to demonizing the other party to the detriment of the country

the Democrats fought hardest against the Civil Rights legislation of the 60's. So much that Strom Thurmond had to leave the party and become a Republican

I was not referring to that far back in our history.

During the civil rights movement it was a whole different republican party and also democratic party.

It also creates the preplanned goal of 60 senate seats, if you include Al Franken, which will increase the speed of the runaway train known as government.

I'm more worried about the removal of the brake than anything.

Fine, where are the black rights extremists? democrats. they are easily filed under hate mongers. What about the extreme environmentalists that will torch Hummer dealerships? Democrats.

Each side has its haters. There is little difference.

I will agree with the extremists are everywhere in all walks of life. How much influence and what results from the extremists activities is the issue.

The right extremists are far less powerful then you imagine. They just receive a lot of press. It's all an illusion.

Not true. If it weren't for them for example we would not have an issue with gay marriage.

funny story, in CA, two of the largest groups to vote yes on prop 8 were hispanics and blacks. In case you didn't know, the LA hispanic population tends to be fairly religious and democrat.

white and religious, yes, but you can't make that much of a generalization that all religious folks are republican. hispanics and blacks can be religious too and they by far vote democrat more.
