I don't believe this is something we should get in a totally panic about. But.......I do believe we should take precautions now like washing hands more after shaking hands being around others that are sick. Read where Mexico is planning on shutting down some of the schools due to so many absent that are sick. They are shipping and anti virus to Texas, Calif and several other states at this time. We can never be too careful this is not something your flu shot actually covers but it never hurts to take any precaution that you can.JMO

I heard on NPR news that they were having the usual flu going around but then they started noticing more then the usual amount of cases of pneumonia showing up as a secondary infection of the flu. That's when their concern increased.

It hasn't killed anyone in the US as far as I know yet and can be curable. Really don't we all need a little population control anyways?? No problem if I am chosen now how about you?? Sure, if you are willing to go first.

It isn't just in North America. Folks worried about getting this flu must not be practicing good personal hygiene. All somebody has to do is sneeze or cough on or near you. A sneeze can spread germs very far. A child could touch a door knob with the virus on it and scratch their nose or lip and the virus goes home with him. It's not all about hygiene.
