I wouldn't base my decision off of it, but they might be able to see something that you don'. Everyone handles things differently and it's nice to see how others would handle a situation sometimes.

base your decisions on what people tell you in a post? No. But..they allow me to see different perspectives. I agree and love that... I don't post "my" personal stuff though.. Sometimes I think or hear of something and like to see other prespectives... Sometimes I think "if I were in this person's position I don't know how I would handle it" and it's great to see other prespectives.... For me the keyword is "perspective" (thanks Winx)... As well as keeping my personal stuff personal. I have enough friends and family that if I need an opinion I will go to them... And some of those friends are even here, but I do it privately... Just my way of handling things not suggesting everyone is or should be the same...
