Well aren't you all high and mighty. OH GAWD I don't watch pro wrestling cuz it's fake. That last movie u saw was that real ? How about that last episode of 24 or lost ?? real ??? is JAck bauer a real person ??? NO NO AND NO !!!! it is entertainment plain and simple. Can these guys get hurt YES. do they do some amazing things ? YES. That is all. No one in their right mind thinks that stuff is real any way.

That's my point exactly...if I wasn't so tired, I would expand a little about this.

Half the people that moan about wrestling being fake regularly tune into their weekly reality show...which is...wait for it....just as fake.

Interesting. I know that wrestling is fake and I don't watch reality shows.

I was referring specifically to people who bash it for being fake and then watch their favorite reality show.

The point I was trying to make was not who bashes wrestling, it was that virtually anything seen on TV nowadays is fake, whether it be movies, weekly dramas, sci-fi (which I'm a huge fan of) or the like.

Thay big Hollywood stunt explosion is probably about as far fetched as it gets, yet many of the same people who gripe about wrestling are standing around the water cooler in the morning raving about how cool the explosion in the previous nights movie was.

pro wrestling is no worse than any other t.v. show. Most shows on t.v. are fake, this just happens to be fake sports not comedy or drama (although it uses both frequently) so if you look at is as a t.v show not a sport it is alright

I remember Undertaker when he first started out. He was a "filler" named Mean Mark Callus for the more well known wrestlers to beat.

Hence the title "WWE". The E is for 'entertainment.' Wrestling's been a set-up for many years. Ric Flair and Ricky Steamboat would come to town, beat each others a$$es in the ring, then be spotted out drinking a beer together. Doesn't matter, it's still fun to watch sometimes when you need to get ur mind off of the days events. That's all that matters.

i do too actually but for people who want to complain about it not beaing real, it isn't supposed to be i was making a point. they don't advertise it as real and haven't for a long time now

Yes, I heard about that. The fighter he mauled appeared in the ring in a luchadore mask like the ones Mexican wrestlers wear.

I thought, what a moron, to mock an opponent because he happens to be a pro wrestler.

Lashley is a 3-time national amateur wrestling champion and a one-time NAIA National champion. With that background, any fighter looking to take him lightly for being a pro wrestler is an idiot and worthy of getting his head kicked a couple times.
