or maybe not. Reading the Boise, Idaho newspaper last week and ran across a ad asking for female paid volunteers to help with research of a new drug that helps females with HSOD (hypoactive sexual desire disorder). Yes, ladies we finally got a name for our lack of desire for hubby/boyfriend/FWB/FB (hope I got that covered). We used to just be called "frigid". No more excuses, "Not tonight dear, I've got a headache" I can see the scenerio now Hey hon, I'm in the mood! How about I take my viagra and you take your special little pill?

While I understand the condition exists, I always thought it was a result of the I O (indifferent, inconsiderate other) not being in it for both partners. A lot of men are old fashioned in a few ways...

They believe it is fact that most women can't or don't have orgasms or just can't as easily as men, therefore don't put forth the effort
They think women are wired just like them (i.e. if I get in there, it feels good and should for her as well)
They believe that foreplay for them (she's willing) is the same for women, when a lot of women need a lot more than that
They believe it is their right to have sex (whether she likes it or not)

It has been proven that women will get pregnant percentagewise during an affair (especially in the beginning) a lot more frequently than during marriage. Why? Gee, let me see, the guy pays attention, takes time to make sure she's content (in all aspects) and actually respects the word no. If you're familiar with the female anatomy, an orgasm isn't just for pleasure, it cause the cervix to "dip down" into the area where the sperm is usually deposited, thereby enabling a pregnancy more efficiently. Hence, more frequency of pregnancies during affairs.

How many times have you heard, "I just thought I couldn't have them"? Amazing,,,

I'm willing to bet that just like male dysfunction where almost all cases can be resolved through diet, exercise and taking care of their health,,, women's issues can be taken care of more frequently by having needs/desires met...

Flowers, candy, cards are all nice but, attention, consideration and respect usually do the trick for me.

Be still my heart..a man who understands. It never ceases to amaze me that so many men say getting married means the end of sex. They never stop to think that part of it may be their fault, as in not as much attention given since now the woman is 'theirs'.

Oh **** a tiny little pill could of saved my marriage. Not likely men are inconsiderate about the needs of women thats a fact, If you need a little something, something more to get you blushing happy. He always sorry He just could hold on any longer. And gets insulted if you want to add a toy all the time. I frankly just don't understand I thought it was good to be a little freaky in the bed. And why would you be in the mood. It like eating a good meal but can never have any desert.

Remember that we came from an era where we were so repressed sexually! The underlying concept was good but we gals constantly heard to be lady like at all costs, pretend you didn't hear a guy whistle at you, don't kiss on the first (or second or third) date, tell him no even if there's yes in your heart, wear your skirts below the knee, never ever ever "go all the way" and on and on. Then you get married and you're supposed to know what you're doing and if you did act like you knew what you were doing you felt like you would be considered cheap. It's no wonder most of us have been through a divorce and have taken sedatives or Prozac along the way! Ha!

Wife's cousin is big into "western history." She do'es a program about the "Madams" of the old west. Interesting fact is, the madam's taught the cowboys how to treat ladies/have sex. Dad's would take their young sons to the madam, or her ladies, to teach how all this really worked. Soldiers from WW I & II, learned everything in foreign countries, where sex was considered a normal thing. No matter how you look at it, this country has a HUGE religious base. Part of that base is, "sex is dirty." Thus many people, male & female, have the wrong outlook on anything sex related. I was fortunate & had some interesting teachers, much like the old west.
I FIRMLY believe, we need to look at full sex education for all.
Giving everyone a good exposure to all forms of sex & them let them make their own decisions on what/how they use it.

I hope I dont get booed out of here but I don't like the little blue pill. I am a very sexually charged woman and I want to be the reason for letting the good times roll not a pill. I know it has been a blessing for the men that really need it but wouldn't you agree that it is over used and some men are just to lazy to work it the way nature was meant to be. It all goes back to our way of living now in this instant gratification world of ours. I know I don't need no pill just a good man that is willing to work with me.
pitchfork
sweetcheeks aka: Kandy blushing
p.s. And I would like to add that my orgasms are better more frequent and more intense than any other time in my life. Just might have to dust the cobwebs off from there lol.
