I was around my brother and a bunch of others today and I think I must have heard every racist reason in the world to hate Obama!

Really the only approval rating that concerns me is the one in Congress. Obama has boasted about his bi-partisan approval in Congress but that has gone by the wayside. He had 40% percent among the GOP legislators, not anymore...it has plummeted.
Can he achieve his goals in such a contentious environment? Time will tell. Approval ratings at this point mean crap. Approval ratings at all mean crap. All that means is people are ok with what he is doing at this very moment. That is far from him doing a good job in respect to the long run. Only time will tell how these actions will play out in the long run. Dubya had high approval ratings at this point, almost some of the best in history in another 6 months and look where that ended up. Again, approval ratings are as useless as the stock market as a full indicator of the economy. They give a little insight but nowhere near the full picture. |
