I have found that a tender kiss or a gentle caress , can show more afeection in an instant , than all the flowers and perfume in the wrold

Being the considerate and understanding person , finding out what "touches' them the most.


Some people its "quality time together" or it can be, doing the little and big chores "acts of service" .. then there is "gifts" some people expect those.. "words of affirmation" you know the I love you's the hey you look and smell nice, please , thank you the list goes on and on.. And then there is my favorite. "physical touching" the hugs the kisses the touching for no reason except to show you are thinking of them like holding hands in the store. a little squeeze here and there.....

Little things......

Run a bath for him, when I know he's had a mammoth night/day

Tidy the house, and tone down the chaos when he's writing, or creating/playing

Notice him, and what he requires

Give him that back and shoulders rub, I can see he needs

Have some of his favourite snack foods/fruit platter on hand when he's distracted and miles away.

Get on with my own life, and create new adventures for myself, so when we do have 'our' time I hav something interesting to share with him.

Wear that dress he likes so much...(even when I don't want to)

mount nightly

It differs depending on the guy, but I do stuff like make his plate and bring it to him at dinner time, make sure his fav beer is in the fridge if I know he had a rough day, etc.

great gestures i would say..

a squeeze of the hand or shoulder when out with a group.. a wink across the room.. already having my seat set for me when I drive after they drove the car.. he hee.. a look only you know what they are thinking or smiling about.. making my tea or drink exaclty how I like it.. a lot of things..
