Yes there was a time long ago

a time we once knew

There was a time when friends shook hands
When things where wrong they made a stand

Where activities where outside
going on a horse for a good ride

The time where people worked hard
and afterwords play a game of cards

People where pleased with what they owned
enjoying the nature wherever they roamed

yes there was such a time we enjoyed this
geniune love and faith of your personal bliss

Oh how I miss those times
where everything was so fine

yet now we show our shoulders
trying to move huge boulders

only to seperate ourselves more
closing our reason and our doors

criticizing everything and everyone
seeking hard to do this with someone

losing our ground and reality
and forgetting our morality

oh how I wish I could rewind the time
where everyone was so great and kind

can you bring back those fabulous days
where everyone was laughing in their own ways

if so then what are you waiting for
at the front of my house is a open door
