I love to draw, you give me a peice of paper and something that will leave a mark, and give you something to stare at. personally i prefer pen and ink over most tools. im just curious about what other people might prefer, charcoal? paint, ketchup for all i care, what inspires you.

I do digital art, specifically stuff done using a program called "Poser". In fact, I'm a mod at three digital art sites that cater to the use of said proggie.

I like to write poetry. I don't know if that qualifies. I am not good at painting or drawing...lol.

charcoal and its versatility....using my finger to manipulate it!! Very tactile. My new found love is working with stained glass.

I like acrylics. It gives the painting texture. Also, I can clean it off me...I'm kind of messy when I paint.

I use to draw amazingly when I was a child, just had to look at a picture and could draw it almost exactly. But sadly I remember drawing a snow owl for a class in grade for and my teacher accused me of tracing it. Gave me a zero. Have not drawn since. Heck now I cannot even draw a stick figure without it looking like it has three legs.

Anything I can get my hands on will do...
It is interesting to know others have had the problem with Artwork and teachers in the past as well... I myself am a "natural" artist and was in conflict with most of my teachers growing up. Most wanted me to use their techniques or techniques from a book and follow steps. That form simple minded ignorance of art jaded me later in life; enough that I ended up never taking an Art class after 6th grade, due to failing with grade of F. |
