Today for me, it's slate tiles and morter - I'm building a very cool backsplash (just taking a break to let what is done set up and OMG, it is going to be BEAUTIFUL!)

I'm big into tactile expression...and by that I mean fabric, stone, mosaic, thick paint with a putty knife, etc.

Clay - meh! Slabwork bores me and I can't produce anything but spitballs on a wheel...which is actually okay, because it's really just the feel of working the clay that I like. Guess I'm not a potter!

That chess set is pretty sweet. I've been wanting to do one for a while... I get distracted and end up with a midevil diorama instead.

Gotta say, guys...Krupa's blue Kokopeli painting is nice on film...but I've got it hanging on my wall...& you really can't get the jist of it until you see it in person!

I am slightly colorblind with cool colors... the second I assume is blue... It is almost like the image is slowly shifting, the notes drifting... nice use of the hearts in the notes too.

I have not worked with paint in 20 years, but my Parents have everything I've done stored...Did a couple Bob Ross landscapes, and a few abstract acrylics combined with pen & ink.

Just finished this one, I have not taken photos of the coloring yet, might Photo-Shop this one though.

My folks were both artists. Painted in oils & acrylics and my dad did a lot of charcoal, water-color and sculpture. He was also a photographer and I spent a good many weekend nights in the darkroom "helping" him. But he also did things like knapping flint, making bows...all kind of stuff.

So I always liked art but could never draw anything except technical drawing (drafting). My pal and I built a 3-axis CNC router and I've had a great time making primary covers, 3-d "portraits" in wood and aluminum, etc. I just take some photos, prep them for 256 gray shades, and tweak them a bit then load the G-code into the computer. But I still get quite a sense of accomplishment when one comes out perfect. Is that ART?

Well, my favorite is a good ol' fashioned No. 2 Pencil but I can't find any of those, or anything with an ink pen. And there's only so much searching I wanna do.

I suck with color media, but do alright with computerized painting:

Or painting with light:

I use to draw amazingly when I was a child, just had to look at a picture and could draw it almost exactly. But sadly I remember drawing a snow owl for a class in grade for and my teacher accused me of tracing it. Gave me a zero. Have not drawn since. Heck now I cannot even draw a stick figure without it looking like it has three legs.

What a bad teacher! That really saddens my heart. I wish I could go after 'em...grumble
