it isn't gender specific...

I dated this amazing guy...crazy as a cut snake, but genuinely gentle hearted... was president of his local chapter bike club, boss of two tattoo shops... seemed asset wealthy beyond his means, and for all accounts seen as a bad guy.

He was putty in his five year old daughter's hands, best mate to his seven year old son, and a gentle lamb around my kids... he looked scary as hell.. and I am sure there was a ruthlessness to him also...just never around women or children.

I am no shrinking violet... a strong minded and verbally capable women...I can be as brash or as crass as the next person, and a ball breaker when necessary...

he had to stop seeing me, as he felt I was too nice....he said he never felt good enough around me, he felt too loud, too violent, to nasty...

made me laugh.... but also respect him...his version of nice was a little crazier than who I was...he could recognise that, and so say, no.. to seeing me anymore.


Then there is my One Great Love....he's a bastard to the core...won't give an inch, temperamental, willful, hedonistic, borderline mysogenistic...wouldn't think twice of leaving me stranded in the middle of nowhere after a verbal sparring match...


he's also kind, honest, loving, passionate, a doormat to his kids, as in, positively gooey, equally as gooey with mine, of both gender...he writes the most gentle and poignant songs, he sings with so much heart it has audiences in tears...

And you know what? I respect him...because he respects my uniqueness, my individuality, and my strengths.

so, what is this all about?

One woman's nice is another woman's arsehole..

as the same with men.

I'm a narcissistic, cynical jackass...but I'm nice, I swear!
