Just focus on his hobbies, im sure u know wat they are....Dan likes Jimmy Hendrix, and guitars! lol! he also likes anything related to humour.

If u cant decide, u can always buy him some designer gear that u know he will look hot in! (and of course, u benefit from that as well!winking )

Maybe add in a photo frame with a fav pic of u both, or do wat i did, get him a digital keyring photo frame and upload pictures of the 2 of u on it...this would represent the anniversary part.

Good luck in deciding!

Buy him a hooker..........men like that!!!devil noway  laugh

Not all of us. We just like our sweet, innocent (yeah right) loving woman to act like one...at times.

Never buy a guy tools because no matter what you get, it won't be the right thing, crappy brand, etc. My gf bought me an air compressor for my birthday once. I told her it wasn't the blow job I was looking for but...what the hell.

Get him something that he would NEVER buy for himself and something not to do with his work or WORK at all. Without knowing the guy. thats all I can say.

I bought my boyfriend a pair of Harley Davidson boots and a pair of Nike Shox for his birthday. His best present he said though was going out to dinner (Outback Steakhouse) and looking at how beautiful I was and knowing that he was going home to my bed. He said he felt like the luckiest man on earth and it was his best birthday ever. Now I get to top that next year Oh JOY

so when you tell someone, such as your s/o you don't want anything for your birthday... do you REALLY mean you don't want anything??? Or are you kinda hoping he / she will still get you something but you just don't want to make them feel like they HAVE to.

some men do not like to get "gifts".. I being one of them . The point is this if you don't know whats best how would we? I say your best bet is to give him a relaxing day with you no pressures, treat him like you really love to be with him... don't make an issue out of it. just make him a quiet dinner maybe a good movie curled up together . so he can relax... again NO PRESSURE to do anything but be with each other. Are you saying that after dating this guy for a year, you know so little about him, his likes, dislikes, hobbies, interests, that you can not think of a single gift for him?

Humm why not a couple of shirts and some real nice cologne. And then take him out to eat at a place he likes. Men like to be taken out somewhere special just like women do. Then top it off with something special when alone for the evening. Or even a candlelight dinner at home dressed in something sexy.bigsmile

The key to buying a guy a great gift is to pay attention to the little things he mentions in passing. He won't remember saying it and be completely surprised you would think of something like that.
