Yea so my bf's bday is coming up this weekend and I have NOOO idea what to get him. Of course the times I've asked him what he likes or wants his standard reply is "nothing" you don't have to get me anything. I know I don't have to. But I want to. His bday also happens to fall on our 1 year anniversary so I wanna make it special. Any suggestions?? come on guys, what have been some good gifts you have had or something that you would like to get?

Get him something he can use. This can either be a tool, a gadget, or a sports-related item. Of course, this would mean that you have at least some inkling on what your BF does for a living as well as what his likes and dislikes are.

I do know what he does for a living. As far as tools... I wouldn't even know where to start. He's a mechanic ... soooo... yea I'm at a loss there. Go beyond a screwdriver and hammer and I don't know wtf it is or how to use it.

Jill I know you want guy opinions but I always went for the cologne or shirts... I also used to try to go with what fit their personality or something I saw them express interest in.. Worse comes to worse you could do an overnight stay at a nice hotel and get couples massages... Those are very nice...

A guy would also love a meal in or out and a sexy nightie to cap off the evening..
