well Renissence, maybe since nobody else seems to be up to actually getting together maybe we should set the example my only issue with that is my vehicle is still back home in utah so im limited to as where i could meet with anyone That sucks that ya'll can't get enough people interested in getting together...we've got a great DFW bunch & we party & see each other often. Maybe ya'll need to organize a road trip to up here...we always have a blast! Nice to meet you. I am not in Houston but Carol is and she will be back today. I hope you guys get to do the get together. We do it here in Dallas all of the time. You guys get it planned and I may even show up. I have really good friends on here that live down there.

Thanks Metalwing, I think it would be great fun meeting you good folks.
If everyone interested would post the days, times and suggest a location to meet up would be great.... For me: Satudays evenings, Sunday after church, Mondays and Tuesdays any time. I'm open as far as Location. Maybe if we can get it in the middle where everyone lives would be good. I'm excited about it. Let's make it happen

Cathy you sound like a good events planner so your elected I make a good helper :) those places you mentioned I've never been. And I like going to places I've never been, makes it more fun. I think first meet not somewhere were it is all drinks. But you could have coffee or drinks and food. So lets start there :) something for everyones taste. And somewhere Central I'm southwest.

I like a good mix of things. Music, Beverages available, Food, and Fun, as in dancing, pool, foosball, pingpong, darts, do they have shuffleboards anymore? and just a good place to gather and get to know one another. lol I'm North Central...

We didn't miss much not going to the Westheimer Block Party. =Rumor has it..it wasn't much this year, they didn't even block off the streets? What's up with that?

At the Hideaway Every Tuesday evening. The Steaks are wonderful. The music, you just never know, for it is open mic... anyone can get up and play...
Wished I knew how to play a music instrutment.. lol But then I might run the crowd off.....lol I usually try to post a link so you can view other info as well. especiall a map. 
They also offer sauted mushrooms and onions as a topper.... oh yum. I thought they came in a seperate bowl... they don't, it's a topper for the steak... |
