Depsite outshooting the Caps 42-23 in game 3, the Pens needed OT to win. Caps relied heavily on Varlamov in goal to keep this one close. Assuming the Caps even up the play in game 4 and beyond, this series will come down to goaltending and the classic intangible- breaks. All 3 games have been decided by one goal.

Caps need Ovechkin to come through big. He has so far and has given no indication that he's ready to stop now. Remember what he said to the New York reporter after the Caps went down 3-1 against the Rangers? "You think this series is over?" He is not only talented, but is tough as nails- mentally and physically. Hi counterpart on the Penguins, Crosby, is no slouch either. Hold on to your hat. This series is only going to get better.
