Yes, but it's always followed up 90 days later by "Now I need to change everything about you...."

Never been told I was perfect. But I've had a few boyfriends tell me I was too smart. I've had a lot of relationships not work out because of that. There are lots of different types of intellect. People all have their own skills. The problem wasn't that I was too smart. It was really that these guys had the strange idea that they were dumb because they had less book knowledge of certain things. So they were brilliant w/ computer, or mechanics, or other things than book knowledge on certain subjects. They didn't seem to think that counted. I've had a couple good friends tell me to dumb myself down when I was young. Um, no. I think I'll just be me. It isn't my problem when someone thinks I'm to smart for him. It's his problem w/ his own self-image.

Yes several times.....she usaually says "your perfect...... ( waiting for the other shoe to fall here).... another sucker for me to use.
