Divorced people as damaged goods?
|
|
|

Nope, but I'm biased, lol. And with the divorce rate in this country, excluding divorced people will seriously narrow your selection pool.

Divorced people as damaged goods? While not divorced yet, I do feel damaged. Don't really give a **** if people see me that way. |

I don't feel damaged because of the divorce -- I feel damaged because of the marriage.

I don't feel damaged because of the divorce -- I feel damaged because of the marriage. Spoken like a true non-goat. |

Damaged goods here
Hey that just means I go on the 50% off rack now |

I don't feel damaged because of the divorce -- I feel damaged because of the marriage. Spoken like a true non-goat. Well, goats are smart enough not to get married. |

We're all damaged goods in way or another. The only important thing is if we let that damage rule us or we rule it

To be perfectly honest...I'm more concerned with someone (especially over age 40 or 50) that hasn't been married...makes me wonder if they have commitment issues or just want to play the field. I'm not saying there's anything wrong with that, but I'd rather have more in common with someone...& unfortunately, one of those things is divorce. There's no shame if your marriage didn't work out for any reason...unless you bring shame to yourself & constantly rag on that person... It didn't work out...let it go & move on...

Divorced people as damaged goods? Certainly not!! We r all damaged at some point of our lives, but we heal. U dont have to be married to someone to be damaged by them. As far as im concerned, we r like bones, if we break, we knit back together again, it may never look the same, but its healed. Theres no such thing as "damaged goods" when talking about ppl, because we r not goods. |

Divorced people as damaged goods? Nope I don't think so. I think it is better to get out if it isn't working. Staying in it would make us damaged goods. |

I don't see us(divorced people)as damaged goods, but more as a learned/experienced group! Only you can let yourself be a damaged product of divorced. I refuse to let that happen. I've been through 2, so...I look at myself as a survivor!!!

.I would have to say no. I look at it like a period of my life that I was able to spend with someone that I really cared for; other than being alone.
