I'm new here, and the MI forum seems to be a little slow... so now everyone has to stand up and tell me where they're from and what's going on and what I'm missing. It's been a loooooong cold winter, sping is finally showing it's face and I'm really really bored!!

Do the TC area people ever meet up? Like at Borders for coffeee maybe? On a Saturday? About 11:30 AM?

Yes, I noticed the deadness, perhaps we can wake it up ;-)

I am often at Borders on Sunday too, I usually go early in the day so I can have all afternoon for other things ... like stinkin' yard work!

So what kind of work do you do all night?

OOOOO ... I see you geocache! I just started that last summer too! Seven Bridges near Kalkaska was great.

I usually visit my best girl friend at Glenn Lake a couple times every summer. (I live down state)

We always find tons to do with all the great cultural offerings in the area during the summer months.

My favorite place is Art's Bar in Glen Arbor. Great burgers made with fresh meat ground daily, good beer and a friendly atmosphere for all ages.

A burger at Art's is a must when I visit.

There's also a terrific little book store in town two doors down but I don't recall the name of the place.

If I think about it perhaps I will post when I go up next.

Welcome to Michigan...enjoy!

Traverse City is my adopted home. I've been here for more than twenty years and plan on staying. I couldn't imagine living anywhere else.
