I think some people with devastatingly good looks can be intimidating sometimes, until they open their mouths. And some people are so good looking in such a friendly way that it's easy to talk to them. And some people don't look like magazine material at all but have some kind of indescribable good looks about them that make me weaker in the knees than some Ken cut out guy by a long shot. And sometimes, dressing like a grown up will get you more respect and response than dressing like a dreg, but I still prefer dressing like a dreg and making them deal with me like a grownup anyway!! So, sure, good looks or being polished may get you the interviews, but not necessarily the jobs in life. Here- here!! I like the way you think Girl!!

I am gonna be really dissappointed if I am gonna have to fantasize about a picture of your pet duck...(Trust me...I have had my way with more than one duck so, your's had better be in negligee' and garters if it is gonna impress me) hahahahahahaha But...if your duck has an Aussie accent...Good enough! I will hump the hell out of it!!!!!!! (I love that accent!) |

I'm confident and I'm not all that good looking, I appeal too few and like it that way...I'd rather date a few than have gobs at my doorstep. Confidence has nothing to do with looks, looks has a lot to do with how other's percieve you...I'm confident in my ability to say I care less what other people think about me.

well yeah, being good looking helps. take me for example.
im good looking and i get plenty of mails and nudges and whatnot. unfortunately when i start talking and responding in my standard sarcastic ways, they either are intimidated that i dont act like some frat broseph with an intelligence quotient higher than that of a broken n64 cartridge, or they just think im a prick. oh well. |

I think confidence comes from within....whether you good looking or not so.....You can be so so and have such confidence that people are attracted to you for that.
I think good looks only gets you so far, then there better be something upstairs or you will bore me to tears.. I have also seen a not so good looking person have so much confidence that it makes me take another look, and the personality is what gets me everytime....Be ugly and make me laugh and I think your the best thing since sliced bread. Be so fine and have the personality of a wet noodle and I will say later days.. |

Just a question.....
It seems like most people on this thread see either beauty or personality.... Have none of you guys ran across someone who was beautiful AND had a wonderful spirit? Do none of you have both? I ain't gonna lie here...I am not ugly (though apparently I am an arrogant, narccistic, vain, ego maniac) I am also a really good natured, loving, romantic, just want to please my woman kind of guy. Do you guys think that you gotta settle for one end of the spectrum or the other and nothing else? If so....I feel bad for you. |
