I have a few Mopars. Used to have many more but decided to sell off a few several years ago and of course that was just before the prices when through the roof lol. Right now I have two 66 Plymouth Belvederes and one 67 Belvedere convertible.

Just traded off a sharp looking but crappy '71 honda 250cc bike for a crappy looking but really sound '61 Ford Fairlane. Good project car.

My ultimate dream car is a 1969 Camaro Yenko, but that's not going to happen anytime soon, lol. However, I indulge in watching Barrett Jackson often, so I can live vicariously :)
Way back when, I actually drove as an alternate driver for a drag racing team. This was before I had a child, and lost the right to risk my life on my whims, lol. |

Oooh a car girl Yep :) Dated a guy in high school that bought a frame for a '69 camaro, we built it from scratch. Most of our dates required my holding a flashlight while he did something under the hood, or haunting swap meets looking for original parts for the radio or dash. When we were done, it was a beauty of a car. Sadly, he married a non car girl, and she made him sell it to buy a mini van, *weeps* |

Dumb fool should have stayed with you.......his loss |

That's awesome, I would love find a girl like that, hard to find. Dumb fool should have stayed with you.......his loss In all fairness, we were late teens/early 20s, lol. Outside of the car, we didn't have a whole lot in common, so was better that it went the way it did. I just wish he would have called me when she made him sell it, because I put a LOT of work into that car! |

That's true you do need more than just the one thing in common, too bad it would have been nice to have the car back. |

I have a few Mopars. Used to have many more but decided to sell off a few several years ago and of course that was just before the prices when through the roof lol. Right now I have two 66 Plymouth Belvederes and one 67 Belvedere convertible. I used to have a 1970 Plymouth Barracuda Gran Coupe with 383, Torqueflyte automatic and 8-3/4 Spicer rear end, but I had to sell that a while ago to help with some financial difficulties my dad was having at the time (this was several years ago). I've got a 1967 Dodge Coronet R/T at present that I've been trying to get off the ground (as far as refurbishments go) for a while now. Unfortunately, trying to find parts for the damned thing is like trying to find hen's teeth, and whatever I DO find is WAY expensive. So it's in car limbo until I can either get enough scratch to finally get to work on it or finally sell it to be rid of the headaches. |

That's true you do need more than just the one thing in common, too bad it would have been nice to have the car back. Yeah, but I keep my eyes peeled for one to come along in need of restoration. My best friend's hubby is a mechanic and has a garage with a lift, and we have a deal - if I buy one and supply the parts, some labor and the beer (lol), we can restore it over there. In the meantime, however, there's always the Barrett Jackson auction and fantasies ;) |

I remember as a kid my brother had a GTO, can't recall the year. That was a fast car.
He had a Dodge Dart too that was ugly but had a lot of power. I miss that car. |
