The life of the lonely
Is barren and bare
No one to turn to
No one to care

Haven't eaten in days
Hardly slept through the night
Things always look different
When it's in black and white

When you are alone
By yourself as you read
Have a terrible hunger
But no will to feed


When the darkness seems endless
All your brightness is gone
