I'm sure there is some woman on Stealth mode perving me right about now. Thats what I was thinking! |

I HIGHLY doubt it, but if I do, I'm sure they must have some serious psychological issues that need to be addressed.

I did in high school. At the beginning of my senior year, I started getting great notes in my locker. When our class sold candy or carnations as fundraisers, my secret admirer always sent me one. I was a cheerleader, and the notes would make comments about the game the night before -- and how good I was at halftime, etc. If there was a dance, I'd get a note the following Monday saying how pretty I looked at the dance, etc. This went on for the whole school year! The day we got our year books, and we had senior week, my yearbook got passed around -- like everyone's -- for signatures. I got it back at lunch, and a whole page was used as a letter from my secret admirer who ended up being one of my best girl friends! I was so surprised. I always thought it was a guy. There was no reason a girl couldn't have been but that never crossed my mind. In the letter, she said she planned to do this for someone special and she chose me. You can't imagine how honored I felt -- and loved! She was diagnosed with vocal cord cancer the year after graduated and died 4 years later at the age of 23. Marnee an amazing person! OUTSTANDING and outstanding honor... VERY cool! Yes, Marnee IS outstanding (in memory as well as in her life)! Thank you for reading my story! |
