window unit? if so, pretty damn simple to put in especially if you
already have the 220 outlet for it, if it's a 220 unit. most unit around
18,000 btu's and smaller are 110 and usually above that will be 220

Whisp, I told you, that thing is too heavy. You just need to make more
windows in the outside walls. And if that doesn't work, make some
windows on the inside walls. Trust me.

I looked up on the internet how to install a room a/c ('cause I need one
for my bedroom), and all the links said to 1) Go to the store and buy an
a/c, and 2) hire someone to install it. That was a big help!

Can't you just put the heater up into the place where the air
conditioner is supposed to go, and then set it to "Cold"?

OMG WHISPER, I can only get the visual of you putting in the window unit
6 flights up and it falling out. Do be careful they are not hard to
install but......... when installing one and no way to adjust from the
outside that is the part that can get tricky lol Just dont let go of it
tillt the window is down and it is very secure. Hummm think I would ask
the building super if they would install it instead. Just a thought. But
they are actually very simple to install just the weight issue there and
hanging onto it makes it a little tougher from the 6th floor lol good
