So Clinton had his knob polished and lied about it.
Fake moral outrage is pretty disgusting. Newt Gingrich was doing just the same thing as Clinton before during and after he lead the drive for impeachment. Gingrish has even admitted to doing his intern while he pursued the indictment. Then you have Bush who blatantly disregarded the Constitution and because we are and were at war and because he had enlarged the powers of the executive branch virtually unchecked was never held up to account for his actions. To equate the two is beyond obscene. In one case semen was spilled and a man sought to keep his private life private. In the other our children and the children of others blood was spilled while the administration used extra legal reasoning and the slippery war on terror to escape answering questions. Yeah..same thing no doubt. |

When? In 2002/2003? That was one hell of a stimulus package! it's 2009 and Obama has been president of your country for an hour (in relative terms). Think about it. Jess you can either get upset and complain about it which I am not interested in,or go find some facts that dispute what I said.Obama has had more than enough time to fix some of our problems.So far he hasn't accomplished anything except adding a trillion or so dollars to our debt.Find something that Obama has done and then we can talk. The stimulus used to pay the bonuses and was TARP money. It came from the Bush Administration era. If Congress had allowed Bush, he was going to pay out the whole $700 billion with no strings attached. Even after they applied some monitoring devices, they still managed to slide a lot of it by unchecked. At least Obama's trying to put more monitoring devices into the remainder of the money. Wow, here. Congress (Schummer, Dodge, Frank) not Bush convinced Paulson to change the plan from buying the mortgages to direct capital injection into the banks and Obama has done more capital injection into the banks.
