Thankfully most of the men I've dated have been great about keeping their home clean. I am usually the messier one. Well it's not like you don't have other things you have to worry about first! I agree with that. I am not a total slob, but after a few days the clutter drives me nuts and I go through the house like a tornado and clean everything up.

I am in such great shape, compared to what I am reading here. But I am very weird about people in my place. Yes it will be quite tidy before you come over.

What turns you off or on the first time you see your new 'dates' place? Among my turn offs are lots of clutter and dirty dishes, a dirty bathroom is a real turn off. If it should go that far, dirty sheets are just gross - run! Conversly, clean is good! Lived in is good, some clutter - signs of life happening... Her parents teeth in a glass in the bathroom

A dirty bathroom; bed is unmade; porn left lying out; overfull trashcan spilling out on the floor. Ususally, these things tell me that it can be right there in front of him, needing attention, and it ain't getting any.

Ususally, these things tell me that it can be right there in front of him, needing attention, and it ain't getting any. All porn is via internet, none to leave out. (Check wallpaper on computer) I have two daughters, and two bathrooms, so I keep it clean for when they come over.(Girls are fussy that way) Clean sheets on bed, so it is made too. (I might get lucky, best to be prepared) Empty trash-Check. I am ready now!!!!

If anyone has seen the show "Monk" -- that is me!!! Basically, everything has to be spic and span or I bounce. - I hate hair on any surface -- even one - Dirty floors - Dust - Dirty sinks, showers, toilets - Dirty carpet, walls, door handles, baseboards - Refrigorators Every week, I take clorax wipes and wipe down my walls, baseboards, the top of door jams, door handles, and I take out my dishes to clean the cabinets. When the doggies go out for potties, I wash their paws before they are allowed in the house. Oh, I hose their butts if the go poopies. I vacuum twice a day and wash my floors every day. I clean my toilets twice a day too. UGH! I hate toilets! I hate seeing them or even that word! I keep my bedroom door closed 24/7 because I don't want the cats in my room; otherwise, they would get in the bed with their 'litter paws'. I clorax clean my counter tops about 4 times a day. I can only imagine what my cats do when I am not home, so I assume they are every place they are not allowed when I'm home. So, I clorax clean the all surfaces. Yes, I am over the top. I can't be with anyone that is dirty. It makes me question his hygiene.

My two big ones are kitchen and bathroom. If where you eat and get clean aren't up to par, how is the rest of it going to be?
