Yes it is possible, although its a very hard situation to be in. Eventually you are forced to make a choice, sometimes the choice is made for you. I wouldn't have changed a thing.

I guess that it's possible, but at some point one or both become play-toys instead of genuine love-interests. We've been programmed over the past 1000 yrs or so to think of relationships as being 1+1, not (1+[1)+1]. But if someone has f*#^buddies, that doesn't fall under the same category, I don't think.

Well, it can happen...............
 Take for instance, a long relationship that has ended, but you're heart just wasn't sure its over....having nothing to do with them for a very long time.. Meanwhile, you have met someone, quite different from you're past love, and you love them also......and theres NO possibility of the 1st relationship ever working....? Reality, is much different from the heart.... And after many years, the 2nd, is no different....
