I think the general word may be "Adversely"Keep on Windows 2000 which is the most solid pack ever produced from Microsoft specifically if running a network

it's just security updates mostly. Malicous software removal, .net framework. Microsoft said it will not noticibly change your computing experience whatever that means.

any word on how this service pack affects windows? I had it automatically installed on my laptop and it almost wiped out my hard drive. I would suggest if you really want to install it...do it manually...back up all of your data, and disable any firewall's you have running (it actually tells you this on the Microsoft website). I wish I would have known. Instead I had to pay $60 to have it removed by a professional (it wouldn't even allow me to do a system restore). |

I see only two advantages (run as everywhere), and (tasklist in cmd). There is nothing (!) else. |

XP SP3 is not a requirement, and doesn't really improve your system. If you don't feel you need it, then hide it on the updater. I for one don't have it or even accept anymore XP updates.
