respect and appropriateness is defined by the mods.

ive seen atrocious threads that just turn mean-spirited and spiteful that grow to 8-12 pages in length before they are pulled! then i see some other threads that are aborted 5 seconds after birth.

people will be mean, this is part of life. but if were gonna start throwing the book at certain users here and let others slide, then i fail to understand why there are rules and guidelines at all! lets just make em up as we go along.

someone will always be bent out of shape no matter what, but i would like to see some more equality in the application of these rules.

its just my interpretation.

We do not see all posts, we try to take care of any problems, but that is why we rely on users to report such threads so we can handle them.

I am glad someone has said what I have been thinking. I noticed it to but said nothing because I thought it would start on me. Thank you bro. You are beautiful!

Good topic, I'll add that old saying: 90% of people don't care about your problems, 10% are glad you have them. The 10% ers are always out there, mainly on different forums

Well said kojack! I agree 100%. People need to be more mindful of others & their feelings to begin with. But also, if something is offensive to you(anyone here) it IS okay to speak your mind and let someone know they've crossed the line. Respect. Simple kindness to others can go a long way. Different things offend different people--you've just got to think about what you are saying and know that there is Always 'somethng' that could be said to hurt or offend YOU too, and no body wants that! Stick with the golden rule here people. It just plain and simple curtosies that people tend to forget, unfortunately. Act like the mature Adults that you are supposed to be. There's already too much hate, racism, discrimination, fighting, and other BS in the world already. We come here to talk, mingle, chat--have fun! Let's keep the flaming out of the forums and keep this community civil and a fun place to be for everyone!

yes, just say you crossed the line with that comment or something like that...

Or just report abuse and we the Mods or Admin will handle it

Had no idea Kojack was even a moderator. I have been very disappointed lately in some of the so called human beings posting here . To the point that I have been considering leaving this site. I am sick of the "grammar police" always starting crap .A recent newbie came here They had serious problems in spelling and grammar trying to get their point across in their post. What happened was outrageous. They did nothing but pick on this person. and belittle him. I have seen where grown men make calls of "gay" if you don't agree with them or that your opinion might side with a womans. I say enough. Grow up we are supposed to be adults . This used to be fun to come here. Now more then not I just "peek" at threads not wanting to be a part of them.

Sure, there are people who get out of line sometimes. Then there are those who argue for the sake of arguing. Other than that though, not much on here bothers me.

I too saw the post from the newbie that you are referring to and thought how sad the responses where. People need to stop and think about what they post, BEFORE they hit that reply button...how will it effect others. Just goes to show ya...some brains aren't engaged when posting!

That old saying rings true "If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all!"

Although I hardy post that much, when I did first start coming here people where and still are acting the way Kojack has in his post, childish games, name calling, and belittling stuff etc etc etc.. has been going on this very site probably since it started up. None the less as I've alway's been told if you don't have noting nice to say then you shouldn't be saying anything at all.

I don't mind talking to others online etc, but this site for sure makes me at times want to move far away from it and there has been times I've thought about right out deleting my account etc because of the way others have acted etc. But I made my mind up that I would not be posting as much etc etc etc instead.

Also what bothers me a bit is the amount woman vs men or men vs woman hate topics, no body should hate any body or dislike any body or one because really no body knows any body or one 100 & 10 %.

But yeah I can see and understand where Kojack can be coming from and why he and others are fed up etc.

That is something i noticed alot of recently as well as racism which we will not tolerate.

Yup.. and it shouldn't be tolerated either.
