ok this is what goes on in my head!!
do we all see the same colors? if we are all loking at this.... we see blue.. becuse we are tought that it is blue... but how do we know that the color that i see as blue is not the color that you see as green, but we are tought that is blue.... and is green.. but maybe im seing blue n green, but if i were to look thru you r eyes i would see green then blue... and what if all of our favorite colors are teh same, but we see colors differently... does this make ANY sence to anyone?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?! these are the things that go on in my head.. hehe |

i never thought of that i dont know what
to say |
SURE IZZIE HONEY I UNDERSTAND
we all see colors the same unless we are color blind....colors are the
way they are because of how much light is reflected i think!!! |
we do percieve things differently though
and >> NOONE UNDERSTANDS ME ....NO ONE << |
ah beautiful colors of the world...
yep I got ya izz! |
That is crazy cause I wonder that kinda thing ALL of the time.
Like sounds too maybe everyone has the same taste we just hear things differently...Woahhh |
No we don't all see colour the same. It is all perception. Blue is
blue for you...however you see it is real for you. There is also cross wiring that can happen in the brain where their senses get wired differently...hearing colours, tasting shapes ... this salad tastes pointed ... that music sounds purple It is really quite fascinating. |
yeah I kinda understand that ... :) ...
this use to scare me , when I was younger BUT not now :) .. I see things THAT ARE NOT THERE ...... and yes its true ... |
thank you!! this has been floatin round in my head for some time now, im
thinkin im crazy, n i finaly get the courage to ask my family, n after an hour of explaining, only my dad (crazy trust me) understood what i was tryin to say.... n everyone else just gave me the "whatever you say crazy lady" look.. hehe and yes the colors are the same due to lightn stuff, but the percepition and what our brain sees is different, so what i see as red could be buttons blue, but we are tought that red is red using visual aides to see.. |
yes that is true izzie ...but when you are young and learning your
colours ... someone holds up a card and says it is red ... whatever it is that you perceive that colour to be - you will call it red. |
yep. n my favorite color is purple, n my moms is blue.. but what if they
are the same color?? we just perseve them differently?? i kno its creapy in here.. welcome to my head!!! hehe |
WELL HERE IS NUSALOR HE'S PURPLE IZZIE???
what if they are all the same colour ... or no colour ... except what we
project onto them ... welcome to my head |

Iz -- Did you ever think about what would happen if everybody told you
that the sun was green all your life? And you would believe it because everybody was totally convinced even though it didn't match the "green" of grass or cucumbers or anything. Even though the sun is more the color of a banana or something, they would say, "No, it's still green, it's just an exception, like when a word starts with a silent G or K." Who named the colors? And how do we know they were right? |
lex babe, why am i not suprised you undrestand me? i was thinkin this
was rite up your alley, hehe |
Well, think about it, a name, a word, all it is is a bunch of letters in
a particular order designed to create particular phonetic sounds in a sequence. But any MEANING we ascribe to that sequence is entirely arbitrary. If we were all mass-hypnotized into believing the color "red" was now called "habablabalplap" we would all be walking around saying, "Doesn't she look bloated in that habablabalplap dress? Perhaps she could use some Activia." That's the kind of thing I think about all day. |

I have, as long as I can remember, seen different shades of color from
each of my eyes. As though one sees the brightness and intensity and the other focuses on the tones. But, then again, I'm not really from this planet... |
Nus, that's because the sun is always slightly farther away from one
eye. Even at night. |
hate it when that happens nuls..
hey lex.. did you ever perfect that mass hypnosis ray yet.. i want the color purple named after me.. hehe |
