Ok, so I was thinking about this and decided to do a test.

I have been cleaning all morning and haven't even so much as combed my hair. Yesterday's mascara had left smudges under the eyes. (I really need to remember to buy makeup remover, soap just doesn't get it).

So anyhow, I took a picture and the plan was to post it on my profile. No enhancements.....no bra, no makeup, uncombed hair.

God help me if I ever post that picture!!!! In fact I do look like that momma from Throw Momma To The Train..........

Obviously I'm not a beauty by any stretch of the imagination anyhow, but I think I'll stick to my dishonest ways of enhancing myself.

Test failed.

Half the time, I don't! I live alone, nobody sees me anyway. I put clothing on when I step outside the house because of some stupid morality thing some people have a hangup about.

Personally, as in comparison to my picture with make-up on... not much difference except that my features stand out a little more.

Heather, either I am so hediously ugly with out my 'lying' make-up and they ran away.

Or their point that wearing make-up is lying about one's appearance doesn't hold up!

Let me ask a question:

Why do women wear makeup?

Some do it to change their appearance.

Others do it to enhance their natural beauty.

Others do it because they like to and it make them feel good.

Others do it, think they look better, but end up looking like a clown.

OKAY! Now we're getting somewhere! So, they do it to create an illusion of something else, is that what you're saying?

So....by definition, what is an illusion?
