I think it was yesterday this girl wrote me asking about a book that I read. (she read it as well) And as soon as I saw her name I knew she was a Juliette Marillier fan. Now, in the book, "daughter of the Forest" there is a girl named Sorcha, and she has 7 brothers that turn into swans. And that book is one of my favorites! Top 3 fav! I told her about other books that I liked that are like the one just mentioned, she had already read them, and I dont know 1 person that has read them, she's the first! It's crazy!!! I dont know, I just got excited about meeting someone who has the same likes as me! I'm flabbergasted!

Chances aren't that likely. Heck- if finding a "soul-mate" is any indication, you're probably gonna be in for quite a search. laugh

I have met several soul friends .. ones with a sense of familiar as though you know them without knowing them. It is a wonderful thing. flowerforyou

Some people you just have more in common with than others. I dont know why people call people their soul mates(or whatever), what does the soul have to do with anything?

Ehh you don't know. I know a girl, only a friend now, used to be a g/f for 5yrs. We think alike. Seriously. It's weird, I don't believe in superstitions, but there are times when I think of her and 10 seconds later she calls me on the phone and vice versa.

When we were together, we used to look at each other and we knew exactly what we were gonna say. She is a doctor now, chose a carrier that needs her to be away 24/7 , I can't be with her anymore, our love is gone, but we still call each other to see what's up.

Very possible and in fact have myself found one here within this site. From the first time we talked it was as if I had known her all my life. The last two years we have laughed & cried together many times as we talked about family, friends and life in general.

She has made me see life in a different way. She amazes me the things within life she has had to deal with and yet never misses a step as she keeps moving forward. She has truly been an inspiration to many more then just me. Many know her as LaMom (Denise) here but.......... to me she will always be (((((((((((((Buttercup)))))))))) yeah there is a story behind that with us and she in fact calls me ((((Puddingcup))).bigsmile

i've read everything she's written...she's very imaginative and her characters are quite well-formed.

I call them "essence friends"...but no matter what name you call them...I believe we draw to us, throughout our lifetime (or lifetimes) kindred spirits...or souls. It's always fun to "bump" into them every now & then...just realize that it's no "accident"...
