I'm hereby officially putting you on my hit list...! Original Star Trek with Cptn Kirk was the same crap each episode: The Star Trek crew would visit some planet that was filled with gorgeous women, at first everything is fine, a lot of cleavage shots and in the end the crew escape from the planet having almost been devoured by those same gorgeous women who turned out to be man eating monsters. of course, cptn. Kirk would have to have sex at least every other episode with one of these alien women in tight bikinis.

Where as Star Trek The Next Generation actually dealth with real issues such as the origins of "man-made" religions, heaven and hell and god and satan. As well as a more realistic take on life on other planets, be it more advance or more primitive than life on Earth and how to deal with each new discovery...

No comparison... the original sucked
