Topic: what the frak? | |
---|---|
The hotel I was at over the weekend lacked the Scifi Station. So we were not able to catch BSG. I just finished watching it.....
The second to last episode was half filed with apparently meaningless flashbacks!!!!!! What the frak???? The last episode had better be GOOD! Because they don't seem to have enough time left to answer the unanswered questions and create an ending that makes any sense at all! How do others feel about this? |

I don't watch the show, but my Uncle was angry about it as well.

ah, guess the fellow BSG fans are out today.

Is there a fifth season yet???????????
The fourth season ended veritably littered with cliffhangers... ...Please tell me there is a fifth season!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |
|

from what i understand a lot of the questions that are out there will be answered through other soon to be released spin offs of the show (even a movie in the works).

Basically put, the Battlestar remake ends in another one or two episodes, as it's essentially canceled. So there essentially won't be a fifth season.
If you've watched the original miniseries that started the show, my guess would be that you'll probably get some hints as to what happens on that final episode. |

I know ,the second to last episode was crap! Now they have to cram all this stuff into the series finale, and if they leave anything unanswered, i might go find Ronald Moore and David Eick and have a little chat with them. I was happy that they showed Zak Adama is one of the flashbacks though. =]
But, there is a movie in the works, there will also be a show called 'Caprica', and this was on the website. 'It was recently announced that sci-fi remake series Battlestar Galactica is getting a whole new spinoff prequel series called "Caprica." Signed on for twenty hours worth of finished product, including a two-hour pilot, the new series is to be set 50 years prior to Battlestar Galactica, and will focus on two rival families, the Graystones and the Adamas. ' There's going to be a lot more coming from these guys, don't worry. It's all going to be what happened before caprica was decimated, but it's all good. =] |

the last two episodes aired last night here in Ireland but i didn't get a chance to watch them. Will be interesting to see how they end the series.

The flashbacks to Caprica were kinda dopey but I think they were trying to establish that the show was "about the characters"

They answered all the questions but just not in a "spoon-fed" way that most sci fi shows do it. A lot of it was subtle.

Don't forget B.A. Baracus throwing some thugs over his shoulders while yelling, "Don't gimme no jibbeh-jabbah, foo!" while the Face-Man tries to hot-wire that late-seventies van for their next adventure.

If nothing else, I am glad that they just actually made an ending for the BSG saga instead of just leaving everything hanging like most tv shows do.
