Is there any music program that would let me burn my favorite songs I find online to a cd after I download the songs that is. ?

I just tired bareshare and after downloading songs I wanted to it won't let me copy them to a cd. Just wondering if there was away around this other then buying like an Itunes card or monthly fee to another music site etc.

Thanks

Maybe I wasn't clear enough or something. I was using Windows media player and or I could use real player. Either work just fine but I was using Windows media player so I can easy burn the songs to a cd with out a problem, from songs I download online to bareshare program to a cd.

But I guess it doesn't work the way I would have liked it to. With out some copy right crap coming up and all.

That's right. Don't forget, if you download songs with a copy protection built into it, you can only burn it if you use Itunes or log into an account to validate it.

There is no way around this.

Protection is a digital feature. Therefore, we play the song that is protected, while recording it as an analog signal. If one wishes to have a digital recording, then it only needs to be ripped from that analog record.

Beautiful, like all of mp3 used to be. Few cents per song, no protection, nice quality, wide selection.

They have full license to sell, never mind what MPAA says. The deal was they have purchased the license, but the MPAA did not think Russians would be so business oriented and not greedy as MPAA themselves, in that they would sell so cheap.

The Russians are viewing it as :"Every time we sell a song, we still have it, we have only sold away a copy, and a few seconds of our time. So, why overcharge people?".

Could be a little slow to get to their home page, since it is hugely popular. But, I have noticed, that once you're logged in, the downloads are lightning fast.

To pay, one has to give them the credit card number. I was fretting that for a while. Damn, those are Russians!

But, eventually, have decided to try, and nothing bad happened. In fact, it has been already quite more than a year, while charging something in Mexico results in fraudulent charges immediately. Go figure. So, looks like it's pretty safe.
