Yep. It's like arguing with Bill Handel.

Ron Paul and Baldwin are talking on different levels.

Ron Paul IS the voice of reason...

Funny debate though. As Nogames put it, totally different levels of intellect...

I thought that Dr.Paul humiliated Baldwin. Every point Baldwin brought up, Ron had a direct, reasonable and intelligent rebuttal.

Baldwin resorted to making a wisecrack about Dr.Paul supporters being potheads.

it's kind of like this site, you don't get anywhere when you have different levels of intellect. you just get people arguing back and forth and the one with the most intellect ends up just pulling out their hair.

What an analogy.

I also loved the part where Ron said that It amazes me that we have all these people in Washington who drink alot of Alcohol, but they're frightened to talk about hemp.

As long as America is being ran by hypocritical Fundamentalist Christians, marijuana will NEVER be legalized. Even though it says in THE BIBLE ITSELF that it is ok to use EVERY seed bearing plant and herb.

I'm talking on a NATIONAL level. Yeah...there are certain states that have already decriminalized, and are pushing for full legalization, which is cool. But...I don't think it will ever reach the point where it is legal in every state. Not in my lifetime anyway.frown

The "gateway drug" theory is a total cop out. If thats the case, then we should ban tabacco and alcohol (which causes far more deaths than marijuana).

I agree with Ron. The whole "war on drugs" is a complete waste of time and money. It is a sick joke, being fought by uneducated hypocrites.ohwell

You've hit the nail on it's head. Christians. I agree completely.
It all started with Jesus and new testament.

i personally can't smoke pot (physical reasons) so i really don't know a lot about it except from my brother in law.

what i do find strange....maybe someone can explain it to me....is that he used to smoke all the time. he quit for work. but wants to grow it when he retires. but at the same time....would punish his kids if they tried it
