The love belongs to the one who loves, not who is being loved.

Afraid of commitment? frustrated

I'm not afraid of commitment, any guy who is most likely dosen't know how good he has it, or shouldent be in a 'relationship' anyway.

(((Pec))) I don't agree.. Love is nice, it feels great.. But I am who I am without the love of a partner, I have my success it still feels good.. I am content and pretty happy without love.. Were I to find it, really find it, that would be great but I don't count on it nor place my self-worth on being in love... Now the love of my sons, I couldn't live without... I know you didn't say all that, I just got on a roll.. bigsmile

When your Great True Love comes home to your heart, contentment and happiness with today's life will remain a steady anchor for self-knowledge--a certainty that provides more strength to love totally and with assurance. Then, having lit your own bonfire of love, and daring to fan its flames higher and higher, I pray that your mate will be of such mature character and faith in togetherness that all the bliss mortally possible comes true.
Not that you would ever say, "Without love, I have nothing."
Just that having poured all of yourself into that love, nothing of you remains outside of it...so that you have nothing left to give.

I know that you didn't say all that, I just got on a roll. bigsmile

Woah there , Sparky!

So if you don't have love in your life, you have nothing? That's a load of crap!

I have a life I'm pretty well happy with. Yes, there are ups and downs, but I make it through. I don't have to have someone in my life to love or love me to make me happy. Would it be a nice perk? Hell yes! But, having or not having love in my life is not what defines me.

Sorry, but the way you put that got my knickers in a twist. grumble

Define anything shshsh would I give up my kids for one my true love NOT!!

Love is what it is! It is something one should not have to sacrifice all they have in order to receive it.

Love is something that should be given freely from the one that loves you.

So would I give up everything just in order to have what one should not have too NOoooooooooooooooooooo!!

Love is worth everything,
because without it, you have nothing. Who agrees?

Okay how is this then………….

I disagree even without love I will still be able to survive and thrive as well. I see love as something that enhances what you do have but not something that without it I would be nobody or have nothing.whoa

Even though to have it is more worthwhile then not to have it.bigsmile

I'd still have my health. I'd still have the validation of my job.
