I wish to maintain my Right to Keep and Bare my Arms.
It can be proven, good guys can go Postal and kill with guns. Police and military have abused the power.
I like knowing if the shelves at the store are bare, I have an open option to go hunt food. In the desert, there are wild animals that attack to kill. When I'm on the job on the ranch, I am always armed.
I also feel a bit better knowing I have that extra edge against the bad guy who wishes me bodily harm.

the guns i have were my dad's. my ex stole all of mine. i live alone and i keep them for protection. if anyone breaks in to do me harm... they will hafta be carried out! i'm not giving my guns up.

LOL... well... the ex husband took them all before... but i was referring to any anti-gun crazies wanting to rid peoples homes of guns.

i have many, i'm a practiced quick-draw, with a rifle as well, but i hope i never have to use them. i've had to defend myself in new orleans, but bear mace did the trick. it has a 30 ft range, and stops em cold...then i have 15 minutes to do what i want with the whole lot.....tie em up nude together with zip-ties on a playground....been there, done that, and laughed so hard, i almost got caught...

Now that is one great looking gun, raiderfan.

I have mine for protection as well and do not want anyone ever entertaining the thought of taking them away. I also like to target shoot, but haven't in a long while.

Why is the ammo expesive?

I like guns cause I like shootin ****..

well just aside from being ammunition which is highly sensitive to market prices for brass, lead, power etc, let's just say it's not a common caliber. so, not many manufacturers make it and most folks who shoot that type of gun reload their own casings, which both kinda work against each other in the market place.

that's not the casual shooters handgun. .45 long colt packs a whallop.. I imagine it takes a good amount of practice to get good with them.. but I hear they shoot really sweet.

1) As an American, it is my duty (I know, it says "right", but some founding fathers were arguing that it is a duty) to keep and bear arms.

2) I like guns. They make folks equal.

3) I like shooting (I don't hunt anymore, not unless I have no food). Not killing for fun, that's for sure.

Regarding point 1: There is a post I have made, with a reference to a video on Argentina. If you watch that video, you will see why second amendment is so important.

i dont have any guns.
have actually never even shot a gun.

i hate violence and I would hate having to resort to it.
I lead a simple unviolent life and live in an unviolent neighborhood (that i pay an ungodly amount of money to live in)

I have no objection to guns and people that own them. some people like to collect them, all kinds of them Im sure, and then survivalists think it might help them out someday. and of course many use them in the wrong ways also....threatening ways.

aside from hunting though, I dont see the point in owning any of my own. and Ima girl......hunting is not something I ever had ambition to do. although it kinda sounds fun.
