thats ok, i've just really needed to say it were other people can hear it and not throw things at me. And I'm not saying all old folk, just the ones that think they no more for the simple fact that they are older. Through age comes wisdom Grasshopper. about life yes, but age can't teach a person everything, yes the older you are the more you know about life and what not, but in my situation age means your behind and know less, i am in school for technology, which means if your out of school for 10 yrs half of what you know is outdates. Yep...any 10 year old can make me look retarded when it comes to computers....I didn't touch one till 2 years ago. The flip side (old vynil record reference) is that I see the young guys at work f*king up with thier girl or on thier job..or just doing stupid sht that I have done ....I can't help but try to keep them from being as ignorant as I was. And thats great, if an older guy wants to give me some advice about life, finacial, relationship, or somthing of the sort, i'm all ears go figure you just lumped all older people didn't you? who says they don't keep up with things you speak of grasshopper?.. some do.....be careful of which you speak.... some of them old guys teach in those technical schools. And for a good reason.but to each his own. go ahead underestimate us old men...and I will laugh all the way to the bank.

Hi. I'm really tired of seeing one gender bashing the other in these forums. It's been done to death, and now I think it's time for something new and exciting. What I'm suggesting is that people start bashing each other based on height. So all of the beanpoles can badmouth all the runts, and vice versa. In many ways, or at least two, this is a natural progression. The bashing should not exist, period! Gender against gender, people complaining about bad spelling, punctuation, anything in general to put one another down...we are all here for the same reason and with the horrible conditions this nation is in right now, we should be uniting and worrying about more important things going on in this world....Hold one another up and be more of a support system

My gripe is that the weather is getting too warm. Freaks me out. Half of the roads are clear of snow!! Not bad, you think? It is beyond bad. When the roads were covered with snow and ice, the people drove like they had brains. Oh, but now they can see the little bits of white lines that weren't chewed up by tire chains and studs. So now, after driving 55-65 mph for months on snow and ice, they slow WAY down, as if the stupid lines makes it illegal to drive with half of a brain. Just follow the ruts in the pavement, for Pete's sake! Oh, and add little economy cars to the list. The ruts that were filled by ice are a factor. Ruts--as far apart as truck and pickup tires, because that's what sensible folks drive in Alaska. Now, the zipping zumwits in their teeny front-wheel drives careen down the highway at 75 mph...until they DO find a place with ice and snow hidden in the shade of a tree, an overpass, or just because it's there. What happens when the slide goes sideways into dry pavement? Catastrophe! Not like when the idjits just slid into deep snow and got out alive. I want the snow and ice back!! I want people to never see the pavement, so that they are paying attention, and sudden changes in speed or direction are guaranteed to end up spinning away into the shoulder-deep snow.

Ice? The only Ice I have around here is in my freezer...I was hating the three days of freezing weather we had this year....egads!
