Sharks are cool. We had an Iridescent Shark when we were growing up. They will pretty much grow as big as their tank will let them.
Guppies are live bearers, and while the males are pretty, you usually are required to buy them in pairs, which means more fish. :) That was an interesting experience, but if you don't have a big tank, you have to find new homes for all the babies. (Personal experience talking, I had baby guppies, baby platies and baby mollies at one point. All in my 5 gallon "only size you are allowed to have in the dorms" tank). Someone mentioned a tried fish. It IS total possible. Look up "clicker training fish" on Google. There are a couple of fun videos of fish playing soccer and doing obstacle courses. Wouldn't the kids have fun with that?! |

OK the fish would be more for me. I'm looking into the glofish they look cool. Might just start out with some guppy's. Maybe a small shark. don't get guppies, they multiply to fast and certainly don't put a shark in with guppys |

Iused to take the food baster and suck them in it and make them jump the grand canyon back into the tank. Just dont tell PETA I did that |

I love taking the kids to the pet store. It's much cheeper than going to the zoo. It keeps them entertained for an hour or so. It does the same for me...lol |

Ahh gotcha. I'm so sorry. Make them wait in the car next time!  See, with wallyworld I can do the "We go straight to the film section and get the pictures, grab a container of milk, and we LEAVE. " The pet store is not so easy. I had a fish 'cus of that, and now I have TWO cats.  You have way more self control at wallyworld than I do. But I did good at the pet store. But I might get some fish. They have this tank that goes in a corner and would fit perfectly in this corner that I havnt figured what to put there yet. Just not sure what kind of fish. Try CLEANING the fish tank though. And the preteaching for wallyworld is just as much for me as for the kid. If I say what all we need before we go in I can't say, oh let's just go look at the candles... I will have to try that today, on my way to Home Depot
