Ok I took my girls to te pet store to get shampoo to give our cats a bath(I know what the heck was I thinking). Well after looking at some of the pets they have, I now need to get fish, a lizzard, a parrot, a white mouse, and a turtle. And I thought going to the toy stroe was bad.

one of my cats was scratching so my vet suggested washing them with this shampoo for dry skin.

wallyworld would have been worse for me to go tolaugh

I almost croaked when I saw the prices.

Haha remember well. Used to have a room set up just for all their little pets. After the attraction wore off who took care of them ????

Ahh gotcha.

I'm so sorry. Make them wait in the car next time! laugh

See, with wallyworld I can do the "We go straight to the film section and get the pictures, grab a container of milk, and we LEAVE. laugh "

The pet store is not so easy. I had a fish 'cus of that, and now I have TWO cats. noway noway noway

That was basically my arguement for not getting a dog at this point. I only have my girls on the weekends and I would be the one picking up poop all the time.

I was a professional pet groomer for many years & have given many a cat a bath for various reasons...fleas or being very matted & dirty the top 2 reasons. But TJN...don'tcha know that you've got to cut their nails first & stay away from the sharp end?

I love taking the kids to the pet store. It's much cheeper than going to the zoo. It keeps them entertained for an hour or so.

I solved this problem years ago. Kept my pecker in my pants. No kids= no pets. And vica versa.

You have way more self control at wallyworld than I do. But I did good at the pet store. But I might get some fish. They have this tank that goes in a corner and would fit perfectly in this corner that I havnt figured what to put there yet. Just not sure what kind of fish.

I take them to the zoo on the day veterans get in free, and pack a lunch, soo it only costs me getting them a toy at the end of the day. Good Idea though. And I cant believe you didnt say you like turtlesnoway

I myself am that way about pet stores. I love little dogs and now I have two. Teacups and adorable. If I had a bigger place I would have more because I love my pets. My boyfriend is the same way about dogs.

Try CLEANING the fish tank though.

And the preteaching for wallyworld is just as much for me as for the kid. If I say what all we need before we go in I can't say, oh let's just go look at the candles...

Nothing worse than having your kid ask, uhhh I though we just needed batteries and wipes, mom?

When I say over and over, no we can't go look at the toys, no we can't go look at the Pokemon cards....

Keeps me guilt free. In that area anyhow!
